The Talent Development Specialist will create, promote, and execute a strategic plan to advance existing and emerging leaders within Nicolet through a combination of large group coaching, one-on-one coaching, recorded training, and written materials available to all employees. The Talent Development Specialist will partner with senior leaders to assess needs and opportunities and will collaborate with leaders at all levels to provide support as necessary to improve organizational effectiveness, initiatives, programs, and processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong consulting, analytical, and communication skills (verbal, visual, and written), create impactful deliverables, and be comfortable working with leaders at all levels of Nicolet.
As a Talent Development Specialist, you will:
- Interview leaders at all levels of Nicolet to gain an in depth understanding of existing roles, responsibilities, staffing, and other elements that impact organizational and individual performance.
- Assess the effectiveness and needs of current leadership initiatives, programs, and processes.
- Assess skills and experience gaps for existing and future leaders.
- Direct the individual career development programs for current and future leaders and other high potential employees. Mentor employees on career planning.
- Participate in the implementation and measurement of the Sustainability (Succession) Plan and direct employee engagement initiatives to drive retention of high performing employees.
- Design leadership training, workshops, focus groups, workgroups, and strategic planning sessions to meet individual and organizational goals.
- Facilitate leadership training, virtually and face-to-face, in support of department strategy and individual needs.
- Develop change management and engagement strategies, as needed.
- Develop narratives and visualizations using Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other graphic and written formats to communicate results.
- Provide individual coaching and team coaching, as needed.
- Review, analyze, and interpret complex documents, including existing plans, policies, procedures, presentations, guidance documents, and internal and external memos.
- Facilitate employee engagement meetings as needed and analyze and quantify feedback for trends and actionable changes for organizational improvement.
- Review and make recommendations regarding outside sources of leadership development skills, as necessary.
- Uphold Nicolet's philosophy and policies by maintaining appropriate controls to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, thereby fulfilling legal responsibilities and enhancing the quality of services provided by Nicolet.

Qualifications
- BA/BS degree required.
- Coaching certification preferred (ICF ACC or above).
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
- Experience designing learning programs to develop emerging talent and enhance learning experiences for existing leaders.
- 2 years organizational coaching, consulting, or related experience.
- Experience with and/or certifications in common leadership and team assessments and models (e.g., DDI, DiSC, MPTI, etc.).
- Strong understanding of adult learning as well as behavioral, cognitive, and social psychology.
- Strong interpersonal, consultative, analytical, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
- An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.
- Effective communication skills required for this position.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus.
- An energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
- A flexible individual who can meet the needs of multiple stakeholders and who is able to meet tight deadlines.
