Title: Procurement Specialist I Location with zip code: Richardson, TX, 75082 (onsite for only 2 days/month ) Pay Rate: $24 - $28/hr on w2 Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): Day Shift Hours : 40hrs/ week Duration: 6+ months Job Description : The Procurement Specialist assigned to the Cadence Team will be responsible for a core set of suppliers and will perform follow up actions on open purchase orders. These actions will require advanced interpersonal skills, critical thought on problem solving, and the ability to effectively work remotely and achieve goal metrics. Looking for candidates with a strong work ethic. This position requires the ability to lead without authority and a knowledge of the procurement cycle that includes tangible deliverables and intangible services. Specific actions include building relationships with suppliers, as well as client's end users, buyers, receiving dock workers, and accounts payable personnel to ensure PRISM reflects the latest status and delivery date. Performance is metric based and includes delinquent deliveries, unacknowledged purchase orders, and date of the latest PRISM status update. Additional tasks include delivery expedites and stakeholder collaboration on problem solving. A BA degree in Business or Supply Chain is preferred, but not required. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. 5 years expediting and/or procurement. SAP experience preferred, but not required. This position is currently hybrid and will require the selected candidate to work in office two days a month at the Richardson, TX location.
