Electrical Engineer

Provide expertise and subject matter expert (SME) personnel to develop engineering data packages, analyses, drawings, reports, cost information, scheduling, and other quality products leading to a Critical Decision (CD) - 1 package in support of a federal Consolidated Interim Storage Facility (CISF) for spent nuclear fuel.

The work is part of an effort led by the Department of Energy (DOE) - Office of Nuclear Energy (NE) as directed by the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Spent Fuel and High-Level Waste Disposition. The Statement of Mission Need (CD-0) for the CISF has been successfully obtained on May 3, 2024. Our primary scope is to develop the Conceptual Design for submittal with the CD-1 package in accordance with DOE O 413.3B.

This work designing a facility that will consist of multiple building and different systems - this will include the need for I&C support.

PE not required but preferred.

This position is a part time position and can be done remote.
