Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Senior IT Service Desk Specialist with a Secret clearance to provide support to a Government Office at WPAFB, Ohio. The individual will provide NIPR and SIPR support, enterprise desktop support, inventory management, and act as a cybersecurity liaison. They will interact daily with Information Technology/Cybersecurity Teams, Program Managers, and industry subject matter experts across multiple domains (air, space, cyber) to assist the government with daily operations and specialized projects as needed. This position is an in-person position and will be co-located with the Government Office at WPAFB, Ohio.

• Front line position to accept customer incoming support calls and gather information using. exploratory questions.
• Manage support tickets using support ticket management system.
• Provide frequent statuses to customers while support tickets are prioritized and completed.
• Provide professional customer service throughout IT support process.
• Maintain professional behavior, with a customer-service oriented mindset.
• Utilize knowledge of Office 365, Office 20xx, Windows Desktop Operating Systems, and computer hardware setup and troubleshooting experience.
• Systems administration duties as assigned and as opportunities are presented.
• Clearly communicate and collaborate within and outside your immediate team.
• Support various networks,
• Maintain inventory lists for IT equipment, in accordance with government regulations (ITAMs).

• Must have Security+
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of IT-related experience on DoD networks
• Excellent customer service skills
• Comfortable working 100% in-person at a government customer's site, in unclassified and classified environments
• Must possess a can-do attitude and a desire to learn
• Must have strong communication skills - both written and verbal
• Must possess an ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced yet rewarding environment
• Must possess an active Secret security clearance, and have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Desired Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• 12 months or more of experience in a SAP environment within the last 5 years.
• Linux experience.
