JOB SUMMARY:

This position can be hybrid at any of our locations (Seaford, DE; Fort Worth, TX; Kansas City, MO; Urbandale, IA; Orlando, FL or Scottsdale, AZ)

The Automated Pricing Analyst plays a key role in advancing Trinity's pricing capabilities through automation, system integration, and data-driven decision making. This role supports the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of automated pricing tools and workflows, ensuring timely and accurate responses to market and customer demands.

The Automated Pricing Analyst must have strong technical skills, a sharp analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate across departments including Sales, Operations, and IT. The Automated Pricing Analyst will help Trinity improve response times, increase win rates, and deliver consistent, competitive pricing with reduced manual effort.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  1. Manage and optimize automated pricing tools across internal systems (e.g., TMS, Power BI) and external platforms.
  2. Support integration of APIs and third-party pricing tools to enhance rate sourcing and delivery.
  3. Maintain dynamic pricing models that reflect current market trends, customer profiles, and cost structures.
  4. Build dashboards and reporting tools to monitor pricing accuracy, speed, and success rate.
  5. Analyze pricing data and automation performance to identify gaps, trends, and areas for improvement.
  6. Partner with Truckload Pricing Analysts to ensure pricing automation aligns with broader strategies.
  7. Collaborate with IT and external vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement system enhancements.
  8. Assist in the transition from manual workflows to automated processes, providing training and documentation as needed.
  9. Monitor market activity and adjust automated pricing rules to remain competitive.
  10. Contribute to special projects or process improvement initiatives in pricing and procurement.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:



  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field, preferred.
  2. Minimum 2-3 years' experience in logistics, pricing, or analytics; truckload experience, preferred.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced), Power BI, and Transportation Management Systems, preferred.
  4. Experience working with APIs and external platforms (e.g., DAT, Truckstop, carrier portals), preferred.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, preferred.
  6. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Excellent communication skills and ability to translate data insights to cross-functional teams.
  8. A proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement and automation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This job operates in a physical office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands, arms and fingers to handle and lift objects up to 10 pounds.
