Responsibilities

As our Manager of Nursing, you'll be the heartbeat of our nursing team! Here's a sneak peek at your exciting responsibilities:

  • Be the Connector: Act as the bridge between our amazing nursing team and our Medical Director/Director of Psychiatry. Your communication skills will keep everyone in sync!

  • Delegate Like a Pro: Maximize efficiency by assigning shift-specific responsibilities to your team. You'll be the maestro of nursing care!

  • Get Hands-On: Roll up your sleeves and perform 2-4 clinical shifts each month. Plus, you'll step in to cover for your fellow nurses when they need a break. Teamwork makes the dream work!

  • Audit Aficionado: Conduct weekly chart audits to ensure our documentation is spot-on. You'll be the guardian of accuracy!

  • Medication Maestro: Review medication error reports and internal incident reports. Your keen eye will help us maintain the highest safety standards.

  • Compliance Champion: Ensure all nursing documentation and treatment plans are completed with finesse. You'll keep us compliant and organized!

  • Pharmacy Liaison: Work your magic with local pharmacies to resolve payment issues. You'll be the go-to person for smooth communication!

  • Phlebotomy Pro: Perform phlebotomy when ordered by the MD and coordinate with Quest for specimen pickups. You'll be making things happen!

  • Policy Protector: Uphold all Newport Healthcare policies and procedures. Your leadership will set the standard for excellence!


Qualifications

  • Current RN license in the state in which you are applying required.
  • Minimum of two years of prior nursing experience preferred.
  • Minimum of one year management/supervisory experience preferred.
