Linxx Global Solutions, LLC. (Linxx) is currently seeking an Irregular Warfare (IW) Program Analyst to fill an immediate position in Virginia Beach. The IW Program Analyst will support the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) Force Combatives and IW Training Support contract

Responsibilities
The IW Program Analyst will provide training, education, and research support services to Navy Expeditionary Command Training Directorate, N7. The Analyst will advise the Assistant Chief of Staff/Director on naval and multi-service requirements for the execution of non-standard missions and operations. Irregular Warfare Operations in support of Navy Expeditionary forces include, but are not limited to: Counterinsurgency, Maritime Security, Stability Operations and Maritime Stability Operations, Security Force Assistance, support to Counterterrorism, and Security Cooperation
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Specifically, the IW Program Analyst shall be held responsible for the following:


  • Providing experienced personnel (subject matter experts) and information pertaining to the history, evolution, and current operational trends of IW, as it applies to each component command; Design and instruct curricula on IW topics as required
  • Coordinate with the Expeditionary Warfighting Development Center for force-wide development and implementation of advance tactics, techniques, procedures, and technologies for the Irregular Warfare mission area.
  • Research, analyze, and interpret policies related to non-standard missions and forecast implications for expeditionary forces. Provide recommendations, based on qualitative or quantitative analysis to modify training and/or education standards to enhance force readiness.
  • Conduct unit assessments focused on the integration of emerging threats and capabilities within the training programs; Provide updates of IW related tasks, conditions and standards that apply to deploying NECC units and other training criteria necessary to ensure mission readiness;
  • Identify IW-related skills and experience within manpower and training systems;
  • Conduct concept development, analysis, and problem solving for tactical, operational, and strategic level issues related to training, education, irregular warfare, confronting irregular challenges, and expeditionary warfare.
  • Travel to all other component command locations, as required and directed.



Required Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • U.S. citizen;
  • Current SECRET clearance;
  • Prior military experience at the FO/GO command and staff levels;
  • Relevant experience in Navy Expeditionary/MAGTF/Special Operations to include recent deployment in support of Irregular Warfare mission areas (see Responsibilities);
  • Subject matter expertise in two or more of the following:

    • Military Staff Officer/Staff Planner
    • Organizational Training and Readiness
    • Joint Staff Action Process
    • Marine Corps/Navy Expeditionary unit Leadership


  • Ability to interface with all levels of Command;
  • Comprehension of the Fleet Response Training Plan;
  • Possess strong communication and inter-personal skills;
  • Possess the ability to clearly, and properly, speak and write English;
  • Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet software applications;
  • Possess the ability to multitask and work both as a team and independently, while meeting strict deadlines;
  • Present a professional appearance.
