*Description*
Position Description Lead NERC CIP compliance efforts for T&D Engineering, including change control, device security configuration, patch management and compliance support. Essential Functions: (As defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, these include the following responsibilities, minimum job knowledge, skills, and abilities. This is not necessarily an all-inclusive listing.) *Basic understanding of communications/IP network topology and configuration. Position-Related Responsibilities: *Provide direction and oversight for the change management process, including first level review of evidence prior to review by higher level Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). *Develop and improve CIP compliance processes. *Function as the SME for applicable compliance requirements. *Assist area manager in audits and regulatory implementations. *Evaluate hardware, software and communications networks for cyber security implications and configurations prior to installation, removal, or modification. *Work closely with other engineering groups and C&M to assure their needs are met without compromising cyber security and evidentiary processes. *Determine the applicability of CIP faculties under T&D Engineering jurisdiction (i.e. substations) *Oversee management of an inventory of microprocessor based devices at designated CIP facilities under T&D Engineering jurisdiction. *Maintain and annually review recovery procedures and backup media for the various CIP device types located at the CIP facilities. *Develop and maintain procedures and checklists to document the setup and modification of CIP devices in accordance with initiatives. *Develop and administer training regarding CIP procedures and processes to all engineering groups and C&M on at least an annual basis. *Work with other business areas to facilitate corporate compliance initiatives and provide evidence for the various audit, self-certification and mitigation activities. *Assist the workgroup by structuring and maintaining documentation and configuration repository, IP addressing software and user access lists. *Must have strong personal computer skills, general document control and compliance experience, and project management skills. *Attend and participate in regulatory group meetings and workshops associated with CIP standards. *Skills* network troubleshooting, router, routing and switching, ip address, tcp/ip, sql *Top Skills Details* network troubleshooting,router,routing and switching,ip address,tcp/ip *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Tools that will be used: - Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, Bluecat Address Manager, Crossbow SAM's (Secure Access Manager) and ServiceNow. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
