The PMO Portfolio Analyst plays a role focused on strategic portfolio management and PMO leadership. This individual is expected to support project portfolio analysis, financial oversight, and performance reporting across complex integration programs, while also driving maturity in PMO processes, governance, and stakeholder engagement. Ideal candidates bring a blend of tactical execution, strategic thinking, and a passion for delivery excellence in a system integration environment.


Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic oversight of the project and program portfolio-tracking financials, risks, resource utilization, and alignment with business goals.
  • Support the design and continuous improvement of portfolio dashboards and reports by collaborating with data/reporting teams, validating outputs, and ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs. Participate in the use of tools such as Power BI, Excel, and PWA to interpret and communicate insights.
  • Conduct portfolio-level analysis including Earned Value, variance analysis, and investment prioritization.
  • Partner with finance and delivery leads to support capacity planning, KPI tracking, and budgeting across programs.
  • Perform regular portfolio health checks and support optimization of delivery pipelines.
  • Communicate portfolio performance and strategic insights to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support PMO Analysts and Project Managers in portfolio data accuracy and reporting standards.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers, addressing project updates, issue resolution, and expectation management.
  • Design and implement PMO frameworks, governance models, and project lifecycle standards across programs.
  • Engage directly with clients to assess PMO maturity and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Develop PMO tools, templates, and dashboards for planning, reporting, and execution oversight.
  • Participate in steering committees and provide PMO-level insights for portfolio alignment.
  • Support change management, risk escalation, and resource management planning across integrated programs.
  • Ensure vendor activities and contract obligations are incorporated into portfolio governance.
  • Lead internal training efforts and contribute to scalable onboarding and knowledge sharing initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and leadership to align delivery expectations and resolve issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, IT, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in portfolio analysis, PMO consulting, or project/program management, ideally within a system integration or utility environment.
  • Proven experience managing project portfolios, developing executive dashboards, and aligning project data with strategic priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Power BI, Excel, PWA; familiarity with Jira, SQL, Confluence, or ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge or project lifecycles, EAC forecasting, cost control, and PMO governance models.
  • Experience with prioritization models, resource capacity planning, and investment planning
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Strong communication skills with customers and leadership to build trust, manage expectations, and deliver value.
  • Ability to work across technical and business teams and present to senior/executive audiences.
  • Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or PMO-specific credentials (e.g., P30) are preferred.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in utility, energy, or infrastructure-related system integration projects
  • Global team collaboration experience (e.g., US, Canada, Europe, India)
  • Familiarity with vendor performance tracking and contract integration into PMO frameworks.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
