Advanced Team Leader - Warehouse - MSC - NIGHT SHIFT

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving cross-functional collaboration and fostering an inclusive work environment? Join our team as an Advanced Team Leader, where you will play a pivotal role in directing and influencing teams across departments and shifts. In this role, you will work closely with leadership and cross-functional partners to implement projects, build daily work plans, and provide real-time updates on floor activities. Your ability to understand and manage workforce planning, approve timecards, and coordinate site crisis management will be essential in maintaining a seamless operation.

As an Advanced Team Leader, you will be responsible for setting goals with and for team members, supporting both business and personal development. You will determine, write, and execute appropriate performance management actions in alignment with the Operations Manager and Human Resources. Promoting strong cross-functional collaboration, you will also engage in collaborative labor relations and participate in union business when necessary. Your role will involve supporting personnel investigations, conducting root cause analyses, and communicating with Human Resources.

Your commitment to compliance, regulatory, and safety standards will be critical as you teach and coach team members on adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety guidelines. You will act as the Site Commander, ensuring GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and a strong safety culture. You will lead employee injury investigations and proactive hazard recognition, owning designated safety programs.

Your technical expertise will guide and teach team members on functional aspects, effectively using LEAN practices. You will identify process gaps, write standard work, perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and maintain quality standards. Your budget responsibilities will include creating budgets for usage and materials and providing action plans to correct variances.

SHIFT: 12HR Night Shift - 5:45p - 6a, 2-2-3 Schedule

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of production, operations or logistics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; ORBachelor's degree plus 3 years of military operations and leadership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; ORHigh School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of production, operations or logistics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; ORHigh School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of military operations and leadership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Successful completion of the Gallo Operations/Technical Management Program.

  • 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience; demonstrates team building, leadership and mentoring skills.

  • Required to work shifts as scheduled.

  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $83,200 - $124,800 / year
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
