Job Summary:

The Finance Project Management Office provides project leadership, consulting, and process improvements for finance, working cross-functionally across NetApp. We curate the master portfolio of work, develop the plan for and execute high-priority projects, all while cultivating a high-performing team.

As a NetApp Project Manager within the Finance organization, you will use your strong project and program management experience to understand business requirements, shape and guide the plan, influence and align stakeholders, and hold team members accountable as needed. Strong communication skills and command over business processes are key to success in this role.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Organize, lead, and facilitate cross-functional project teams related to Finance operations business systems and initiatives
  • Determine project cost, resource requirements, and project timing based on scope and complexity of the project
  • Manage stakeholder alignment, communication, and updates
  • In collaboration with key SMEs, develop metrics for process improvements, business readiness, technology readiness, and user adoption
  • Identify root cause(s) of problems and develop "get well" plans
  • Develop and deliver clear and concise presentations to executives that include analysis, metrics, project improvements, and controls
  • Research and analyze best practices for continuous improvements
  • Work with change management leads to increase user adoption
  • Perform cost and benefit analyses to help the PMO prioritize projects accordingly
Job Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience leading enterprise-wide finance initiatives or cross-functional projects/programs
  • Extensive knowledge of project management best practices, including but not limited to, Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum methodologies
  • Strong record of managing competing priorities with attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, candor, and a willingness to speak up even when speaking up makes the room uncomfortable
  • Ability to convey complex ideas and issues in a simple, narrative arc
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to quickly learn
  • Comfort with ambiguity and leading others through ambiguity
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence leaders; skilled in asking the right question(s)
  • Skilled at reading and responding to group dynamics and adjusting style accordingly

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is $102K - $132K. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
