Schedules available: Weekday (4 x10's, Day [5:00 AM- 3:00 PM], Evening [3:00PM - 1:00AM] ), Weekend (3x12's, Day [5:00AM - 5:00PM], Night [5:00PM - 5:00AM]) Opportunities

As a Press Technician, you will safely operate and provide limited minor preventative maintenance of presses and other machinery, and monitor multiple presses or production cells. Press Technician Essential Job Functions:

  • Operating presses and following checklists, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers) for quality monitoring.
  • Utilizing PLEX production software effectively.
  • Performing mechanical adjustments, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Adheres to all safety requirements, including cleaning the work area, lockout/tagout, and wearing required PPE.
Press Technician Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong mechanical, mathematical, reading comprehension, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work with large press machinery.
  • Experience operating a forklift preferred.
  • Attributes: intellectual curiosity, passion for machinery, positive attitude, self-discipline, and commitment to Winchester's mission.
  • Must be a detail-oriented individual with high degree of quality and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated safe work practices, ability to work independently and within a team environment, and strong communication skills.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Location-Specific Requirements:

  • This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
  • This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
