THE JOB: This Learning & Development Partner role provides direct, dedicated support to Borgata, MGM Resorts' premier Atlantic City property. The role is highly facilitation-focused and plays a critical part in delivering new hire orientations, leadership training, and enterprise learning programs. The partner may also support flex learning sessions designed to meet unique property-specific needs, especially during high-volume seasonal periods. THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Deliver and manage new hire orientations and leadership development programs across operational departments. Collaborate with HR and property leaders to assess learning needs using guest feedback and performance data. Leverage our enterprise learning platform to enable development, track progress, and measure impact. Conduct pre- and post-course evaluations to track ROI and ensure continuous improvement. Facilitate both large and small group sessions, including experiential and diversity-focused learning experiences. Manage logistics for in-person sessions: classroom setup, materials, scheduling, and inventory. Advise employees on internal development opportunities and educational assistance programs. Work independently on multiple learning projects with creativity, accountability, and attention to deadlines.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 1+ Years of prior relevant adult learning/training/facilitation experience Strong facilitation and public speaking skills-comfortable engaging diverse audiences from line-level to executives. Familiarity with adult learning principles and learning technologies (e.g., LMS, dashboards, reporting). Excellent interpersonal, planning, and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to travel to various properties and represent Talent Development when needed.
