DURATION: 3-MONTH ASSIGNMENT WITH THE POSSIBILITY TO CONVERT TO DIRECT HIRE (NOT GUARANTEED) SCHEDULE: 6:00 PM TO 6:00 AM (MONDAY - FRIDAY) WITH 8 HOURS ON SATURDAYS TOP SKILLS REQUIRED: - HIGH ATTENTION TO DETAIL - RELIABLE/DEPENDABLE - GREAT ATTENDANCE RECORD - SAFETY-FOCUSED - ABILITY TO LISTEN AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS - PREVIOUS ASSEMBLY EXPERIENCE (MUST BE SHOWN ON RESUME) - PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE TESTING EQUIPMENT (MUST BE SHOWN ON RESUME) THE HIRING MANAGER NEEDS TO HIRE ASAP. ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE IMMEDIATE AVAILABILITY TO INTERVIEW AND START ONCE COMPLIANCE IS CLEARED. ALL INTERVIEWS WILL BE CONDUCTED IN PERSON. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assemble and test machinery such as conveyors, rotating assemblies, etc., according to specifications and shop orders. 2. Check the quality of parts to ensure accuracy of dimensions and quantity. 3. Must have own hand tools and be able to use required measuring tools 4. Follow job operations as outlined on the work order 5. Must be willing to work in a non-climate controlled environment 6. Report dimensional discrepancies to Supervisor as they occur 7. Must be willing to cross-train into other areas as required to meet production schedules and/or manufacturing needs 8. Capable of driving a forklift and operating an overhead crane 9. Must be able to work extra hours daily and on weekends as required 10. Must follow all safety and environmental policies and programs; must be able to use personal safety devices as required by company policy; report any activities that could be detrimental to safety and/or the loss of productivity; report any injuries when they occur 11. All employees are required to assist in plant housekeeping 12. Must be able to work around the chemicals in the assigned department 13. Interface with manufacturing personnel 14. Must be willing to work in an on-the-job training status for the first few weeks of employment 15. Assist in the training of new personnel 16. All other duties as assigned | |
