Job Overview:
The Operations Manager will manage the CARE Operation Team responsible for the centralized management of Ingersoll Rand's multi-year Service Agreements portfolio. In addition, the Operations Manager will be responsible for maintaining the operational health for all service programs within the portfolio. A high-level of independent initiative, ability to act and work with other business functions are key requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the centralized CARE Operations Team responsible for new Agreement registrations, active Agreement modifications, expiring Agreements and early termination Agreements.
- Operationalize New Offerings and Enhancements to the Ingersoll Rand Service Agreement Portfolios
- Oversee the financial health of all programs within the portfolio through target margin attainment and execution efficiency.
- Develop, generate and communicate Operational KPIs for Service Agreement Portfolio and take action based on those KPIs
- Provided on-going support of the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) conversion
- Support Service Agreement quoting tools (e.g. CARE Calculator)
- Manager Service Agreement system defects, improvements and future enhancements
- Oversee centralized Service Agreement portfolio invoicing & financial accounting
- Manage Ingersoll Rand install base data accuracy (e.g. Frame Types, Ship Dates)
- Oversee specialized Service Agreement and Bundled Service Agreements registrations & execution
Successful Candidate Characteristics & Qualities:
- Proactive Channel Partner Engagement: Daily real-time proactive engagement with our key channel partners by phone, in-person or by email
- Active Listening & Learning: Engage in actively listening and learning from our channel partners and seek to assist in solving their issues
- Sale Operations/Execution Tools & Training: Develop and deploy Services Sales Enablement tools and training designed to aid service team's effectiveness and capability.
- Services NPD: Lead all operational aspects of new services offerings launches into the channels served.
- Service Agreement Demand Planning: Provide monthly guidance on long-term market demands as well as weekly sales activity pulse/tracking. Drive for accuracy, while identifying opportunities and risk areas.
- Services Support: Provide the daily support and assistance to field sales and service personnel including selling strategies, inventory management, service operations, price / lead-time availability, etc. for our Services offerings.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- Experience in service related business or marketing
- Experience in leading teams
- Project management experience
- 5+ years of industry experience preferred within compressed air or related business-to-business industry

- You are willing to travel domestically on an as-needed basis (20-30% based on business needs)
Preferred:
- Experience with Salesforce, Oracle or SAP
