Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Onsite based out of our Indianapolis office located in the Castleton area.

Pay: $18 - $22 / hour + full benefits within 30 days of hire

*This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. This is a non-exempt role paying $18-$22/hour and can adjust along with the level of the role to match the person's relevant experience and/or education level.

On a typical day, the AP Specialist will contribute to the Inotiv team by:

• Processing invoices in D365 and JDE
• Handling invoices for separate entities and vendors
• Working with vendors and internal business partners to resolve PO, receiving or other opportunities
• Support SOX guidelines
• Provide inquiry status to internal business partners and external vendors
• Assist in special projects as assigned by management

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn other accounting software systems. JD Edwards and/or D365 ERP systems experience is beneficial
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Outstanding verbal and written communication
• Ability to organize daily work to meet deadlines
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change
• Data entry skills
• General math skills
• High School Diploma
• Prefer 2+ years prior work experience
