Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $44,200 - Midpoint: $55,300 (Salaried E6)

Department/Organization: 401202 - Crossroads Civic Engagement Center

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm; some evenings & weekends required

Job Summary: The Crossroads Community Program Coordinator develops, schedules, and facilitates interactive formal and informal civic engagement training and leadership development programs for students, staff, faculty, and community members under limited supervision. Assists in developing content for social media platforms and digital content development.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience facilitating civic learning and democratic engagement curriculum to include some experience in conducting values-oriented skill-building workshops and facilitating civic leadership training, dialogue initiatives, and other civic engagement practices.

Skills and Knowledge: Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to be resourceful and take initiative when needed. Ability to coordinate and publish social media and web content. Ability to work independently. Ability to oversee student staff and volunteers, ensuring tasks are professionally executed in a timely manner.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree and two (2) years of experience facilitating civic learning and democratic engagement curriculum to include some experience in conducting values-oriented skill-building workshops and facilitating civic leadership training, dialogue initiatives, and other civic engagement practices. Ability to coordinate and publish social media and web content (original text, images, video, etc.) to increase the Center's brand awareness and encourage engagement with Center activities.
