Summary:
The Executive Director - Operations is responsible for driving the executive's strategic initiatives forward, including communicating and managing deliverables across the business. The executive advisor will direct, monitor and contribute to strategic projects and program management for the executive's office. This position requires balancing and influencing multiple competing priorities and individuals and is responsible for the central coordination of all strategic and operational activities. The employee will provide leadership and direction for change management initiatives, budget and financial planning, project management, and program development on behalf of the executive. Additionally, this position has oversight for all ongoing projects supporting the executive's agenda to ensure that the established milestones and measurement criteria are being met.
Responsibilities:
1. Advising- Act as an advisor and be a sounding board to the executive. Central point of contact and owner of content for all executive's leadership meetings. Responsibilities to include Plan, organize, develop agenda, and facilitate EVP driven meetings. Capture major take aways, maintain milestones and track, assign and maintain clear action items and exception reporting. Work with leadership team to ensure follow-up on deliverables and escalate key issues that are stalled. Assist with operational management decisions and actions as directed.
2. Communication- Manage executive's communications, including key announcements. Oversee presentations, including communications, prep and set expectations to presenters and attendees. Develop and deliver customer facing content for executive presentations.
3. Analysis- Analyze data and organizational metrics to provide insight and recommendations to improve the organization's accountability and efficiency.
4. Leading People - Leads people toward meeting the organization's vision, mission, and goals. Education Requirements:
* Requires Bachelor's degree. Master's degree strongly preferred.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
* Appropriate licensures and certifications recommended.
Professional Experience Requirements:
* Requires ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience and 7 years of management experience.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
* Ability to communicate ideas and solutions in a clear, concise manner. Identifies problem areas and skill gaps proactively and addresses them appropriately. Excellent project management and change management skills for designing and implementing high priority department initiatives in a complex environment.
