The Program Coordinator will provide essential support to the Senior Program Officer (SPO) in developing and managing an innovative hub-and-spoke training and technical assistance (TTA) model designed to empower municipalities to use opioid settlement funds effectively. This role calls for collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including municipalities, community organizations, and people with lived and living experience (PWLLE), to ensure the successful implementation of transformative public health strategies in accordance with the State-Subdivision Agreement guidelines.
The coordinator will support the program's operations by maintaining the Salesforce database, ensuring that records and contacts are current, tracking progress and milestone dates, and preparing internal reports. The coordinator will also be key in organizing training sessions, workshops, and webinars that align with the program's objectives. This position requires strong organizational skills, a commitment to community engagement, and the ability to support program operations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. In addition to supporting the SPO, this position will assist the Chief Program Officer (CPO) by managing and maintaining the CPO's calendar, arranging meetings, and maintaining the organizational master calendar for the program team. Participation in internal and external meetings and engagement with municipalities, stakeholders, and vendors are required. The role also supports RIZE's culture and values by aligning outcomes, practices, and communications with the organization's mission. This includes attending all staff meetings, required training, and organizational events, contributing to RIZE's overall functioning, and assisting with general office duties, such as staffing and logistics for in-person and virtual events. A key requirement is proficiency in applications such as Salesforce, Asana, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe, virtual conferencing software (Zoom, Microsoft Teams), WordPress, Constant Contact, and others. The coordinator is expected to manage a dynamic workload, submit expense reports and time sheets within stipulated deadlines, and demonstrate strong organizational skills, a commitment to community engagement, and the ability to support program operations in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to the SPO and demands an organized self-starter capable of prioritizing and managing multiple projects.
