K Job Overview Komatsu is currently in the process of searching for a qualified and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our dedicated Longview Operations Accounting team. Key Job Responsibilities Process invoices for Longview and Portland including research of discrepancies. Perform cash application, deposits and cash posting transactions for Longview and Portland. Generate and send monthly statements for intercompany and external customers. Support the month-end and quarterly closing process. Perform and mainatin Journal Entry and Balance Sheet records for accuracy and completeness. Research collection records and aged accounts. Support internal and external audit engagements and processes. Maintain procedures and work instructions in your area of responsibiity. Maintain customer master files. Other duties as needed. Qualifications/Requirements * High school diploma and some college coursework in Accounting is required. One to three years related experience and/or training preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
