POSITION SUMMARY

The Apparel Associate Planner supports the execution and maintenance of seasonal planning processes that ensure timely delivery of high-quality samples and products. This role is critical in driving sales, profitability, and operational efficiency through precise planning and coordination of inventory, production, and sample logistics.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

  • Execute and maintain multi-season calendar timelines to support on-time development, sampling and production delivery of assigned merchandise.
  • Coordinate the tracking and distribution of sales and photo samples.
  • Plan and execute product inventory levels ensuring divisional goals of product availability, minimum surplus, and financial objectives.
  • Recommend, implement, and communicate material and product order adjustments to meet divisional goals.
  • Maintain accurate work-in-progress (WIP) dates across planning systems.
  • Generate and distribute weekly sales reports and apparel bulletin communications.
  • Prepare data for seasonal inventory remarking.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth production and delivery to customers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication with Pendleton personnel and suppliers.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines across multiple seasons.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years of experience with forecasting, inventory planning, buying or related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field of study. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
  • Knowledge of global supply chain principles
  • Apparel industry experience
  • Ability to speak, read and write English, including clear and concise business communications
  • Experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning), PLM (Product Lifecycle Mgmt.), and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • The ability to use a computer workstation for extended periods of time, sitting, standing, typing, and viewing information on a monitor.
  • Work successfully in an office-based team environment
  • Hours may occasionally exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week during seasonal peeks
