Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals on site. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $14.68 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage production facility and its perimeter, observing for unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access or activities.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious behavior according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control procedures for employees, contractors, and visitors within the location.
• Support emergency response efforts, including evacuations or medical emergencies, as directed by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with X-ray screening is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
