is seeking a skilled and driven Production Operations Manager to join our partner's dynamic team in Parsippany, NJ. This is a direct hire opportunity with a company committed to innovation and operational excellence in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Salary: $120,000+ (Based on Experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Flexibility Required)

As the Production Operations Manager, you will oversee planning, assembly, and inventory processes to ensure optimal productivity, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. You'll manage scheduling, lead performance initiatives, and guide cross-functional teams to meet KPIs aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities:



  • Lead day-to-day operations including planning, sub-assembly execution, and finished goods inventory.
  • Monitor and drive KPIs across departments, translating company-wide goals into measurable team objectives.
  • Address and resolve production issues through collaboration with technical and administrative staff.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives using Lean Daily Management (LDM) methodologies.
  • Represent operations in monthly management meetings and provide performance updates.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction through reduced lead times, timely delivery, and quality assurance.
  • Develop and refine production tracking and quality control systems.
  • Review workloads and recommend adjustments to inventory, staffing, and procedures.
  • Partner with HR to recruit, train, evaluate, and retain top talent while promoting safety and compliance.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or Business Management (Electrical Engineering preferred).
  • 5-7 years of operations leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in high-tech electronics or RF instrumentation/testing is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, scheduling, real-time operations, and KPI tracking.
  • Proven ability to manage diverse teams (including assemblers and test technicians).
  • High mix, low volume production experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in process optimization, personnel management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
