Staffmark is seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer for our client in Monroe, LA. Join a well-established manufacturing company and work alongside a team of skilled professionals.

What We're Looking For:



  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for projects.
  • Experience with fabrication and machining processes.
  • Proficient in taking precise physical measurements for industrial design projects.
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment design, including conveyors, vacuum equipment, bearings, drives/gears, and more.
  • Excellent communication skills.



Salary: $80,000 | Schedule: Varies based on project needs (some travel required)

Responsibilities:



  • Design mechanical equipment based on customer specifications.
  • Perform mechanical and process calculations for design parameters.
  • Create 2D and 3D mechanical drafts for welding, fabrication, machining, and installation.
  • Ensure all tasks are performed safely.
  • Willing to learn and take on additional tasks as needed.
