Responsibilities

The Strategic Advisory & Government Enforcement (SAGE) business unit is seeking a Senior Career Associate with 10+ years of litigation experience to join our Seattle office.

This candidate will be instrumental in working on and helping to manage civil litigation matters, as well as white collar matters. Deep familiarity with Washington state courts (all levels) and Federal District Courts (in Washington State and beyond) is a must. Federal District Court Clerkship experience as well as meaningful experience with internal and regulatory investigations would be advantageous. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated with outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills and possess excellent writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

* 10+ years' complex civil litigation experience, with expertise in Washington state and Federal courts
* Excellent writing and communication skills are necessary.
* Candidates must be highly motivated and possess excellent academic credentials.
* Membership to the WA state bar or eligibility to waive in is required.
* Flexible work schedules and arrangements will be considered.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is between $220,000 and $260,000.

Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick's estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
