Job Summary We're looking for a manufacturing Plant Helper to work in our Asphalt and Concrete manufacturing plants. Under the direction of the Foreman, the Plant Helper will help maintain and repair the equipment used to produce concrete and asphalt mix for our paving and concrete operations while learning how to operate several types of related construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Main Responsibilities Follow all safety requirements to maintain a safe work environment. Maintain a clean and orderly work site through shoveling and sweeping. Work on elevated platforms as well as enter and monitor confined spaces. Follow instructions of plant foreman on daily tasks. Education High School diploma or equivalent. Requirements Required to pass drug screening and a PAT (physical abilities test). Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear). Standing/working on feet for long periods, and walking across uneven terrain.
