BUS DEV REP/COORD - OUTPATIENT

Responsibilities

Supports the Business Development Department and Outpatient Services with implementation of the facility's marketing plan with a focus on outpatient services. Performs community outreach functions assigned by the Business Development Department that support and enhance relationships with new and existing referral agencies and community resources. Efforts will be specifically focused on outpatient services while the OCL will be responsible for positioning PIW as the expert in the mental health field and will promote PIW as a desirable and accessible full-service psychiatric treatment facility.

REFERRAL DEVELOPMENT

  • Conducts one-to-one referral development for the geographic region maintaining existing relationships and prospecting new leads.
  • Collaborates with Outpatient and Business Development Directors to plan activities to increase referral sources and improve relations, onsite events and tours at PIW, attend offsite meetings and conferences to increase visibility.
  • Assess suitability of area clinicians for outpatient referral, improving network and building internal director for Case Management and Discharge Planning.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

  • Maintains database, data entry of account and referral source activity. Daily data entry of referral source activity in salesforce.
  • Provide lead follow-up (in-person in Day Center) collaborating with the Outpatient Director and staff
  • Daily collaboration with Outpatient and Business Development director to monitor, ensure follow-up activities and provide updates

DEVELOP MARKETING PLAN

  • Weekly attendance and co-lead marketing / outpatient meetings
  • Works with Outpatient and Business development directors to develop appropriate marketing plans and strategies, provides weekly update of marketing efforts, contact, referral and admission activities.
  • Weekly reporting provided to Business Development director - related expenses and upcoming travel/marketing plans.

All other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • One to three years of work experience marketing, outreach or sales preferably within the medical/psychiatric field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, verbally, and in writing
  • Proficient utilization of computers and software to maintain database and enter daily activities
  • Expected 70% local/DC regional travel, onsite supporting outpatient 30%.
  • Work hours are based on departmental, and facility needs and may include day, evening, and weekend hours.
