We're looking for a part-time, Sr. Proposal Coordinator to join our SOC team!
As a Sr Proposal Coordinator, here is the work you will do:
- As assigned, will support writing assignments in response to Government Request for Proposals (RFPs); these duties are multifaceted and pivotal to our success in securing contracts. Will meticulously analyze RFP requirements, discerning key priorities and evaluation criteria to craft tailored and compelling responses. Provide expertise that is instrumental in translating complex technical information into clear, persuasive prose that resonates with evaluators. Ensuring compliance with government regulations, standards, and specifications is paramount, requiring a keen eye for detail and a comprehensive understanding of relevant guidelines. Collaborating closely with subject matter experts and team members to synthesize diverse inputs into cohesive narratives that demonstrate our unique value proposition. Possessing a dedication to excellence, creativity in storytelling, and commitment to compliance will be essential in producing winning proposals that differentiate us from competitors and position us for success in the government contracting arena.
- As assigned, will ensure the quality and compliance of our proposal responses through various review stages.Will support color reviews by collaborating with stakeholders to refine content, address feedback, and enhance overall readability and persuasiveness. During compliance reviews, provide meticulous attention to detail and thorough understanding of government regulations and standards will ensure that our proposals meet all necessary requirements. Finally, in the crucial final white glove stage, will meticulously scrutinize every aspect of the proposal, polishing language, formatting, and presentation to ensure a flawless, professional submission.
- Support DZGS/SOC on attaining and maintaining ANSI Standards PSC.1-2022, and ISO 18788, demonstrating a meticulous attention to detail and understanding of relevant regulations.
- Represents and supports DZGS/SOC interests and security compliance International Code of Conduct Association (ICoCA). Provides updates to the company on matters concerning ICoCA
This role is for you if you have these skills
- Mastery of business development pre-award lifecycle process (e.g., Shipley), especially pre-proposal planning and proposal development phases; understanding of the FAR, especially best value aspects.
- Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, interpersonal, project management and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously whicle adjusting to changing priorities.
- Highly motivated, results driven with an excellent work ethic; pushes self and others to deliver results (winning proposals) always on-time and consistently within budget.
- Exceptional analytical skills; ability to develop and present complex data or information in a clear and concise format to all levels of management and our customers
- Must display organizational agility; able to develop and leverage effective relationships and networks; knows how to get things done through both formal channels and informal networks.
And these qualifications:
- Bachlors Degree in English, Journalism or Business or an equivalent combination of education and/or related work experience.
- 8+ years' demonstrated experience leading successful large scale competitive federal government proposal development and operations activities; 4+ of which in technical writing and/or business development. DoD contracting experience is required.
- Association of Proposal Management Professionals preferred.
- Security clearance required; related experience or training in project management, proposal management and customer communication
In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $68,480 - $102,720. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
