Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Logistics Analyst to provide logistics management support to the U.S. Navy Team Submarine organization at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC! We are seeking a candidate to join our team and help provide the US Navy with cutting edge undersea warfare technology programs. You will provide direct support to the Team Submarine's Undersea Weapons Program Office (PMS 404).

Responsibilities:


  • Manage In-Service production support for state-of-the-art munitions.
  • Coordinate with Intermediate Maintenance Activities (IMA) on undersea weapons systems upkeep, forecasting, and maintenance practices and procedures.
  • Perform data calls, analyze and provide recommendations on various Life Cycle and Logistics issues within Undersea Weapons Program Office purview.
  • Oversee planning and execution of Operations and Maintenance, Navy (OMN) and Weapons Procurement, Navy Torpedo Support Equipment (WPN TSE) appropriations.
  • Coordinate with In-Service Branch Head and field activities to establish funding priorities.
  • Draft, Review and Quality Check all outgoing documentation (MOUs, MFRs, Policy and Guidance Letters, ect.) to meet the standards of Navy Correspondence Manual.
  • Support and assist in the resolution of numerous ad-hoc budget and management issue from PMS 404.
  • Coordinate expediting of mission critical material and equipment between commands, organizations and industry.



Education and Experience:

  • Excellent communications and analytical skills; able to meet with program officials and influence actions needed to meet program milestones.
  • 15 years of experience in support of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).
  • Knowledgeable of production contracts, and Navy production management.
  • Familiarity with the PPBE process.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Active Secret DoD Clearance.


Desired Education and Experience:

  • Ten (10) years if demonstrated experience in ILS Management, Supply Support, Support and Test Equipment, development of logistics support plans and methodologies for Navy programs.
  • Four (4) years of experience with Navy Acquisition and/or In-Service Logistics Programs
  • Bachelor's level degree in a business or technical field.



Work Location: Vicinity of Washington Navy Yard. Telework options for 1-2 days per week after all initial onboarding and team integration is completed (estimated 2-4 months).

Travel: Up to 10%
