The Role:

The Main function of a Surveillance Officer is to protect the casino, It's guests, and fellow employees by observing the gaming floor and all other areas of the casino via digital surveillance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Knowledge of table games procedures, house rules, and ICMPs
  • Monitor table games, slot floor, and all critical areas of the casino
  • Monitor premises of all areas to detect crimes or disturbances, using closed circuit television monitors, and notify authorities if needed for corrective actions
  • Basic knowledge of Colorado gaming laws
  • Take and respond to radio calls
  • Answer phone calls and record all information into a designated log
  • Able to function in a multi-task situation
  • Able to monitor multiple cameras
  • Observe and report all infractions.
  • Basic understanding of video recording and camera equipment.
  • Communicate and implement department procedure in accordance with internal controls.
  • Complete surveillance reports and investigations.
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Strong sense of confidentiality


Qualifications:



  • 3-5 years of casino/gaming experience preferred
  • Colorado Division of Gaming License.
  • TIPs certification
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all employees and guests.
  • Able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays also work 6-day work weeks when required.
