Join us as our newest Industrial Maintenance Technician!

In this role you'll make an impact by:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery.

  • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

  • Utilize sanitary welding techniques to repair and maintain equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

  • Provide training and guidance to junior technicians as needed.

To succeed you must hold:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.

  • Preferred 3-5 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in sanitary welding techniques and practices preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints preferred.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.

  • Be able to work full-time with occasional overtime as required

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with sanitary welding in food, pharmaceutical, or similar industries.

  • Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

  • Basic understanding of PLC programming and automation systems.

Working Conditions:

  • Position schedule is M-F 7am-3:30pm

  • Full-time position with occasional overtime as required.

  • Paid rotating on-call schedule.

  • Work may involve exposure to loud noises, heavy machinery, and hazardous materials.

  • Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Location: Salem, Virginia

Expected pay range: $50,000-$70,000
