The Blood Component Laboratory Technician position supports the Blood Center by manufacturing a safe supply of blood and blood components to be used in our community hospitals. The anticipated hourly wage starts at $17.00/hr and is commensurate with experience. Additional information: This position reports directly to the Component Laboratory Manager at our Bethlehem location. To best meet the needs of the team and department, this position requires scheduling flexibility but works the core hours of a second shift including: M-Th 3p-11p, Friday 12-8 with rotating weekends and holidays Additionally, this position requires the ability to lift 30 pounds, stand for long periods of time, and perform small and concise movements. The Component Laboratory Technician works with blood products on a daily basis, exposure to potential biohazardous substances is high.
