The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for the internal Sales process and interface with IES Employees and Clients, collaborates with estimating team to produce bid proposal packages and pre-qualifications.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for completing, submitting, and maintaining pre-qualification statements. Responsible for organizing and maintaining the Prequal Folders (i.e., documents are current and compliance with company Brand Guidelines). Responsible for new vendor/customer/subcontractor setup. Assist sales team with RFP's/RFQ's, organizing, and preparing customer proposal responses. Assist in opening Web ID's. Assist in compiling info for opening jobs. Organize and maintain the IES Contractor's License per state on RFP template in (i.e. check for expiration dates, and clarity and put on RFP format). Assist in maintaining the Project Experience, Project Highlights, and Project Reference folders. Responsible for updating proposal bid documents folder - current and in compliance with Brand Guidelines (i.e., Company Overview, Project/Staffing Plan, Accounting, HR, Safety, QA, etc. documents). Assist with PowerPoint presentations. Enforce Company Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Job Safety requirements (O.S.H.A.). Other responsibilities as assigned. Min USD $31.00/Hr. Max USD $31.00/Hr. Qualifications Physical and Mental Requirements: Regular attendance is mandatory Must exhibit a positive, professional attitude and be a team player. Must be a detail-oriented, organized, and efficient self-starter who is committed to sales excellence, process improvement, and superior customer service. Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners. Must possess proven problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must possess strong admin/PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Outlook, and Internet. The ability to create presentations, charts, graphs, and reports is critical. Must be able to interface well with IES clients, prospects, and business partners on a regular basis. Must exhibit good interpersonal skills and communicate well over the phone and in person. Must be able to travel as needed. Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements: Must have at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency; associate's Degree preferred. Must have experience in customer interface, such as liaison between the customer and the Company. Must be detail oriented and have good people/customer service skills. Must have good written and oral communication skills. Must be able to multitask. Must be able to prioritize. Must present a neat, professional appearance. Prefer a minimum of two (2) years working in an environment dealing with executive-level staff. Prior experience in a sales environment, both face-to-face and phone, preferred. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
