Join our team as a Revenue Enablement Manager !
This is a hybrid role being onsite in Maple Plain, MN on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
The Revenue Enablement Manager is responsible for the overall strategy, execution, and success of the enablement function, which entails empowering revenue generating teams with knowledge, process, tools, and content to grow revenue and serve customers. This individual will need to operate both as a builder and as a leader, providing direction as necessary to the Enablement organization, while also owning outcomes and emphasizing action to get things done. Enablement is a crucial partner for stakeholders across sales, marketing, product, and revenue operations to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales force, build a culture of continuous improvement and constructive competitiveness.

You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales enablement strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives and drives revenue growth.
  • Empower a culture of continuous improvement through programs, events, and relationships, while emphasizing collaboration and fun.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales enablement specialists, ensuring that they have the support and direction they need to succeed, while constantly ensuring alignment with organizational goals and an emphasis on professional development.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and operations leadership to ensure strong cross-functional collaboration across the go-to-market (GTM) unit and that enablement initiatives are fully integrated with the broader business strategy.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of sales enablement programs, including sales onboarding, ongoing training, sales coaching, and performance management.
  • Ensure that the sales team is fully trained and equipped with the knowledge and skills required to successfully execute the company's chosen sales methodologies and sales processes.
  • Develop and oversee the creation of high-impact sales enablement content, including playbooks, training content, and other resources that are aligned with the company's messaging and positioning.
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of sales enablement tools and platforms, ensuring that they are effectively integrated into the sales process and contribute to sales effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Establish sales enablement metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales enablement programs and continuously assess and refine these programs to ensure they are delivering the desired business outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, ensuring that the sales enablement function is recognized as a strategic partner in achieving business goals.
  • Manage the sales enablement budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize the return on effort (ROE) and return on investment (ROI) of the executed enablement initiatives.
  • Advance the maturity of the sales enablement function to meet the demand of the sales organization and overall GTM unit.
What It Takes:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales enablement or a related role, with a proven track recordof driving sales performance through strategic enablement initiatives.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Deep understanding of sales processes and methodologies, with experience in implementing and scaling sales enablement programs across large and complex sales organizations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and build consensus among senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate high-level business goals into actionable enablement strategies that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills to enable timely planning and execution of complex programs and initiatives.
  • Proficiency in putting together a strong sales enablement tech stack, which could include content management platforms, revenue intelligence platforms, sales engagement tools, and learning management systems (LMS), and other sales enablement software.
  • Proficiency in sales data analysis and reporting, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and demonstrate the impact of sales enablement programs.
  • Experience in budget management and resource allocation, with a focus on maximizing ROI.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration across the organization.

Protolabs offers a competitive total rewards package, and compensation mix vary based on position, such as base wage, as well as other earnings including incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, job function, work experience, specialized skills, training, education, and certifications.

Physical Demands:

Work Environment:
Indoors (A/C); nonsmoking; the majority of this job function is performed in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions. However, there may be job duties that require the employee to spend time in the manufacturing areas exposed to machinery and noise; eye protection occasionally required. Occasionally works in outside weather conditions. Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
