As the Sr. Workday Technical Analyst, you will lead the integration of key Workday HCM projects, ensuring high-quality and timely execution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and mentor colleagues on best practices and technical skills. This role also involves maintaining the reliability and security of Workday systems, proactively resolving issues, and implementing continuous improvements. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the integration efforts for Workday HCM projects (Benefits, Recruiting), ensuring timely and high-quality completion while coordinating with cross-functional teams, using the Workday Roadmap feature for effective project planning and execution.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful and timely integrations, leveraging team collaboration to overcome bandwidth constraints.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to colleagues on integration best practices and technical skills, enhancing team capabilities and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Implement quality assurance measures to ensure all integration solutions meet high standards of quality, performance, and security, utilizing diagnostic tools and methodologies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for integration-related matters, maintaining clear and effective communication with stakeholders to manage expectations and project status.
  • Ensure the reliable operation, maintenance, and configuration of Workday systems, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance through proactive system health monitoring.
  • Identify and resolve system issues promptly, leveraging diagnostic tools and methodologies to maintain system health and minimize downtime.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruptions, while adhering to regulatory and security requirements.
  • Implement and manage security measures to protect organizational data and systems, adhering to best practices and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support and training to users, addressing system-related queries and issues efficiently, and ensuring users are well-versed in system functionalities.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes for system administration and integration, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Workday system administration and integrations, including significant experience managing complex Workday HCM integration projects, functional configuration, testing, business process optimization, and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated Workday HCM module expertise, with a proven track record of managing complex integration projects.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, executing, and completing projects using tools like the Workday Roadmap feature.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and coordinating efforts to achieve project goals.
  • Advanced knowledge of integration best practices, technical skills, and methodologies to guide and mentor team members.
  • Proficiency in implementing quality assurance measures and utilizing diagnostic tools to ensure high performance and security standards in integration solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to serve as the primary point of contact for integration-related matters and effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong background in systems administration, including maintenance, configuration, and proactive health monitoring of Workday systems.
  • Ability to promptly identify and resolve system issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Experience planning and executing system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and security requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of implementing and managing security measures to protect organizational data and systems.
  • Ability to provide technical support and training to users, ensuring they are well-versed in system functionalities and can efficiently address system-related queries.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to evaluate and enhance processes for system administration and integration, implementing innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to perform complex functions such as advanced data analysis, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and complex formula creation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, create clear documentation, and facilitate collaborative discussions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., Workday Certified Integration Developer) is preferred.
