We are gearing up to meet our Novonesis synergies and is looking for a new colleague to work with Supplier Quality management. Welcome to Global Supplier Quality You will join an experienced team that is always looking for ways to improve quality of work and processes. Your experience and enthusiasm will be key in delivering this goal. We are responsible for quality assurance of raw materials, primary packaging and suppliers across all Novonesis sites. Our goal is to keep the engine running as smoothly as possible. As such, our overall focus is to meet our business needs as well as our customer's requirements in the smartest possible way while never compromising on food safety and compliance. When joining a team of 12 skilled supplier quality specialists, you can be sure to be part of a high-level knowledge environment and be working in a warm and friendly atmosphere. In this role you'll make an impact by: Your overall focus is to ensure compliance to global quality and food/feed safety standards with a specific focus on raw materials, primary packaging and suppliers within the ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 and FAMI-QS framework. Primary Tasks will be:
Scientific and regulatory review of raw material and primary packaging documentation for new and existing materials Alignment on specifications and setup with key stakeholders in Sourcing, Innovation, QC, local QA and regulatory, as well as with suppliers Risk assessments, approval flows, specifications and change management of raw materials and primary packaging Supplier and manufacture approvals Audit of business-critical vendors and manufacturers globally; travelling up to 15-20 days per year Support and work with the entire organization on matters related to supplier quality management
To succeed you must have:
Master's degree within natural science and min. 5 years' experience from working with quality in the food industry - e.g. product development, food safety, quality or regulatory. As such, you have knowledge of: Food Safety Quality Managements systems like FSSC 22000 and FDA FSMA, raw material functionality and documentation, manufacturing processes, production technology, products, food safety and EHS issues, global food safety legislation and regulations. (If you do not already have lead auditor certification (and experience) related to food safety, you are more than ready to get one.) Communication skills it takes to communicate procedures and standards in an easy, understandable way. Related to this, you like to be part of a team where cooperation, knowledge sharing, and helpfulness are key words. As you will be responsible for multiple tasks, you will also need solid overview, sense of details and ability to prioritize. At the same time, you are fully capable of making decisions based on a pragmatic attitude. Our corporate language is English and you are expected to be fluent both orally and written.
