Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Maverick House

Location: 51st Ave/ Camelback

Behavioral Health Experience Preferred, AZ Licensure Preferred

Experience Treating Co-Occurring Disorders Preferred

Maintains Arizona License: LCSW, LPC, LIAC, LMSW, LAC, LAAC, or LMFT in Good Standing

Master's degree, i.e., MA, MC, MSW, in a Behavioral Health Field Required

Starting at $22.52 for BHT level clinicians

$57,000+ for associate level therapists depending on experience post - AZ Licensure

$70,000+ for independent licensed therapists depending on experience post - AZ Licensure

Additional Language Differential Pay Available: Spanish,Vietnamese, Korean, Arabic, Farsi, Swahili or ASL

$1/hour (Approximately $2,080 Annually) for unlicensed Clinicians and $2/hour (approximately $4160) for licensed Clinicians.

• The Intake Clinician is responsible for completing intake assessments in both a community based and outpatient-based environment to determine if Maverick House is an appropriate level of care for the members.
• The Intake Clinician also completes the prior authorizations with the different health plans.
• The Intake Clinician may also engage in pre and post groups for Maverick members. If the member is not appropriate for this level of care, this position will help in identifying alternative services for the best outcomes for the member.

Additional Duties Include:

• Ability to develop therapeutic relationships with clients, in the community (e.g., hospital, jail, detox, etc.) or onsite as required by program/contract guidelines.
• Complete intake assessments in the community (e.g., hospital, jail, detox, etc.) or onsite to meet the client where they are to ensure a smooth transition into Maverick House, if appropriate.
• Utilize appropriate evidence-based practices to meet the needs of the individual or family.
• Ability to determine and implement appropriate determinations for level of care utilizing the ASAM criteria.
• Complete prior authorization to each of the health plans after a thorough assessment has been completed and BHRF-SUD is found the appropriate level of care.

• Masters degree, i.e., MA, MC, MSW, in a behavioral health field, Arizona license or eligible for Arizona license.
• Preferred- One year of experience practicing in one of the licenses listed below:

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) by the Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health Examiners
  • Licensed Independent Addiction Counselor (LIAC) by the Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health Examiners
  
  
  
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have or be able to attain CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of assuming role.
• Must have valid Arizona driver's license, be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience and meet requirements of Terros Health's driving policy
• Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.
• Must be able to complete the DCS Central Registry Clearance process.
• Must pass a TB Test.
