SALARY RANGE: $180k - $250k

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager to lead strategic efforts supporting the Space Systems Command (SSC), Space Sensing Directorate at the OPIR Tools, Applications, and Processing Laboratory (OPIR TAP Lab) and the Boulder Ground Innovation Facility (BGIF). As Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in advancing national security by delivering innovative technology solutions, driving operational excellence, and shaping the future of remote sensing capabilities. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with senior government leaders, oversee cutting-edge projects, and foster an environment where technological innovation and mission success go hand in hand.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience in Program Management, Aerospace, Engineering, or related disciplines

  • Master's degree in: Management, Engineering, or a related technical field

    • 5 years of additional industry experience with similar scope of functions as
      the BOSS contract shall be considered as a substitute for a master's
      degree.
  • Demonstrated expertise in contract leadership, stakeholder engagement, and mission-focused program delivery

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead execution of a strategic contract supporting SSC's OPIR TAP Lab and BGIF, ensuring program success, mission alignment, and stakeholder satisfaction

  • Serve as the primary liaison with senior government leadership, providing clear, timely, and strategic updates on program activities

  • Act as subject matter expert and authoritative lead for overall contract knowledge, execution, and outcomes

  • Oversee technology exploitation and development projects in the Remote Sensing domain, driving innovation from concept to operational capability

  • Manage operations and facility functions of advanced technology laboratories to ensure effectiveness and efficiency

  • Coordinate IT services across multiple classification levels, ensuring continuous operational readiness and innovation

  • Facilitate proof-of-concept studies and lead the rapid transition of revolutionary technologies into mission-ready capabilities
