Java Full Stack Engineer (On Site)

We are seeking a Java FSE with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java 8+, Spring boot, Microservices, SQL. Experience in the Telecom domain is a plus. This is a hybrid work model.

Location: Saint Louis,MO (On Site)

Role and Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java 8 and Spring Boot
- Design and implement microservices architecture to enhance system scalability and performance
- Work with ANSI SQL and NoSQL databases to manage and optimize data storage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and methodologies
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs
- Experience working in Agile methodologies

Qualifications:

  • Java 8+
  • Spring boot, Microservices, SQL
  • Experience in the Telecom domain is a plus.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 5/30/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $46K - $68K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
