Led by the firm's first Chief Marketing Officer, the marketing function at Goldman Sachs (GS) has unified the discipline, codifying a business-critical function seen as core to the firm's future growth. Within the Global Marketing function sits the Asset Management Marketing team, responsible for end-to-end marketing strategies and programs for the entirety of the business. Marketing helps shape the Goldman Sachs Asset Management brand and protect and grow the business's reputation. They create and deliver targeted, integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels, paid media and in-person experiences, which broaden our client footprint, deepen relationships with clients, diversify our asset base, and fuel business growth. Role Overview The Associate will play a key role within Content and Product Marketing to produce timely content, including thought leadership, messaging and marketing collateral, with a focus on supporting key stakeholders to drive the global growth of Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Responsibilities
- Researching, writing and editing thought-leadership content for am.gs.com, including on macroeconomic and portfolio construction themes.
- Working with stakeholders (including channel marketing and client portfolio management teams) to produce high-quality insight articles and client materials
- Producing content to support Goldman Sachs Asset Management's commercial priorities and focus funds
- Supporting flagship publications, including Outlook material and social media content in partnership with the Content and Product Marketing team
- Customizing content for different mediums and audiences
Qualifications
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as keen attention to detail
- 3-5 years' writing experience working for an asset management company or similar organization, including finance/investment-focused journalism, PR or investor relations
- Solid understanding of financial markets and the investment management industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into simple, impactful messages
- Likely to have a degree or further professional qualification in finance-related subjects
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities, while collaborating across multiple teams (Corporate Communications, Compliance, Investment Teams and Sales)

Salary Range The expected base salary for this Chicago, Illinois, United States-based position is $80000-$125000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
