Responsibilities

TRC is a global consulting firm providing environmentally advanced and technology-powered solutions for the oil and gas, power, environmental and infrastructure industries. TRC has over 7,000 employees in over 150 offices globally, including Canada, China and the UK.

TRC is seeking a Pipeline Compliance Supervisor to join our Pipeline Regulatory Services Compliance Team. The ideal candidate will have forward facing interaction with clients, and lead or assist with a wide variety of regulatory services.

49 CFR 192 and 195 experience required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct of Jurisdictional Analysis for Gas and Hazardous Liquids Pipeline Assets
  • Pre-audit Evaluation and Support
  • Perform on-site Training
  • Representation During Federal Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) and State Partner Agency Audits
  • Customized, Cost-Effective Compliance Program Development
  • Evaluation of Existing Programs for Completeness and Compliance with Regulatory Requirements -- provide recommendations and develop corrective actions / amendments as needed
  • Develop Guidance and Planning Preparation for New Regulatory Requirements
  • Lead Engagement in Major Regulatory Initiatives
  • Develop Comments to Regulatory Agencies on behalf of Clients
  • Delivery of Pipeline Safety Related Compliance Courses
  • Assist in Development of proposals
  • Develop and revise Integrity Management Plans (IMP) for Clients
  • Grow Sector by Expansion of Consulting Services Clientele

Qualifications

  • 49 CFR 192 and 195 experience required
  • Must demonstrate strong pipeline regulatory knowledge and application
  • Must possess exhibited experience in gas and hazardous liquids pipelines
  • Must have substantial experience in the pipeline safety arena
  • Must have specific knowledge/experience in both Federal and State regulatory matters
  • Must have demonstrated skill in oral and written communications
  • Travel expectations, some with short notice, and may be subject to client needs
  • Infrequent field work may be required; thus, the position may incur exposure to weather elements, walking distances, climbing around oil and gas equipment
  • Must reside within reasonable distance from a commercial airport with access to major markets
  • Must provide workspace conducive to productivity
