You are the Content Specialist who will oversee all editorial and social media calendars with guidance and support from the Brand and Communication Manager as needed. You will be responsible for de?ning key corporate content strategies, developing and implementing social media campaigns, providing support to digital campaigns and public relations activities, and overseeing production of corporate marketing assets to support these strategies and campaigns. You will work with a number of stakeholders within the company, with the intent of delivering on our objectives of supporting the corporate brand and thought leadership initiatives. This position requires an individual capable of: understanding brand management, developing content strategies to build awareness and drive opportunities within the dental and healthcare market, and the ability to balance a large volume of projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Conduct Research: competitive research, researching industry trends and understanding social performance to generate content topics.
- Develop Content Strategies: understand company objectives and develop content strategies aligned with those goals. Target content to specific audiences and create content that is sought after by those audiences, which involves conducting market research and/or employing SEO strategies.
- Work closely with Product Marketing Managers to develop content that aligns with their marketing plans, leveraging key opinion leaders, editorial and in-house content.
- Maintain Editorial and Social Media Calendars: schedule due dates and track content through the editorial process. Align the editorial calendar with social calendars to amplify robust pieces of content.
- Social Posting and Engagement: share content and execute tactics to promote growth on the company's social media channels. Actively engage with others in the education industry social space.
- Respond to social media inquiries and disseminate to the organization as needed.
- Public Relations Support: With guidance from the Brand and Communications Manager, work with the organization's public relations agency on the development of press releases and support the coordination of interview opportunities
- Review content, make edits, and manage overall internal review and approval process prior to implementation.
- Develop content for internal newsletter
- Coordinate with Designers: in a team environment regularly communicate and meet with designers on alignment with editorial calendars, content development and ensuring that deadlines are met.
- Website Content Updates: post new content to the blog weekly, or as needed. Monitor the website and correct any broken links, inconsistent language, and grammatical errors.
- Paid social campaign execution and management
- Performs duties related to marketing projects and programs as assigned by the Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Training and Experience
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related ?eld of study
- 3-5 years marketing experience and proven track record of developing and implementing editorial calendars aligned with corporate brand campaigns and initiatives
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results oriented, and priority-shifting environment
- Ability to identify markets, competition and target audience in the development and execution of social media initiatives
- Understanding of how social advertising, landing pages and conversion rate optimization work together
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively with peers and leadership.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The work environment of the position is in a professional office and warehouse environment with uses of standard office equipment such as computer, phone, and copiers. Travel for meetings, conferences and events out of state may require overnight, weekend and international travel.
