Role

We foster a diverse and inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration and career growth. Furlani Foods is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Manager to partner cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement in equipment performance, asset management, and safety compliance.

This leader inspires and engages the team through a clear vision, defined roles, effective coaching, and open communication-fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to minimize unplanned downtime in a 24/7 operation.
• Lead the maintenance team in implementing and sustaining reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) practices.
• Collaborate on Root Cause Analysis and Reliability-Centered Maintenance to reduce unscheduled downtime and boost equipment efficiency.
• Collaborate with QA, Production, and Sanitation to ensure maintenance activities align with GMPs and food safety standards, while maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies such as FDA, OSHA, and SQF to support successful audit outcomes.
• Manage the maintenance budget, labor resources, spare parts inventory, and external OEM service contracts/contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or related technical field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
• Minimum 5-7 years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of Reliability Engineering, mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Must have excellent and proven interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience implementing best in class maintenance programs and strategies such as: Planning/Scheduling, Predictive and Preventative Maintenance.
