Overview
As a Sales Product Owner, you will be responsible for owning the product vision, strategy and roadmap for Waters' Salesforce platform. The Product Owner collaborates with senior management stakeholders across Waters to set a short- and long-term strategic vision that will evolve and optimize both the platform and business processes supported by the platform. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of Salesforce solutions that support the vision, executing both large-scale, transformational, company-wide initiatives and continuously evolving platform features and capabilities with enhancements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Commercial Excellence, Sales, Marketing and IT, to ensure that Salesforce meets the needs of the business and delivers maximum value.
Ability to manage enterprise-wide CRM requirements tailored to global needs, across business functions, creating an enterprise-wide vision and road map for the evolution of CRM, specifically Salesforce.
- Ability to independently lead and influence employees in various organizations, including Sales, Marketing and IT.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the buyer's journey and sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Skilled at fostering a high-performing team environment, building constructive and effective relationships and gain trust and support from stakeholders and other team members.
- Can negotiate skillfully in tough situations and settle differences with minimum noise.
- Communicates a compelling and inspired vision and can break down the vision in deliverable components.
- Proficient in collaborating to making sound product design decisions based on internal business requirements, platform best practices and industry standards.
- Strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact platform changes.

- The ability to make effective and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.
- Capable of working in conjunction with IT resources and design, estimate the level of effort, dependencies, blockers, and contingencies.
Responsibilities
- Product Vision and Strategy: Provide strategic oversight to help define and communicate the product vision and strategy for Salesforce, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the most valuable features and enhancements are delivered.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Continuously drive alignment of the vision with key global stakeholders and work closely to gather requirements, understand their needs, and ensure their expectations are met while ensuring a customer-centric focus and utilization of industry best practices.
- Agile Development: Realize vision and communicate requirements to scrum team by translating into actionable user stories, prioritization and product value metrics. Lead agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Performance Monitoring: Utilize measurable KPI's to monitor and analyze the performance of Salesforce solutions, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of business analysts, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure the successful completion of project. Act as a mentor, offering coaching and professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and career growth.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in CRM programs, preferably Salesforce.com in an IT or business operations role
- 8+ years of relevant experience in a Sales Operations role
- Salesforce Administrator Certification preferred
- SAFe Agile/Scrum Product Owner certification or equivalent experience preferred
- Familiarity with Agile process management tools such as JIRA required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field
