Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Business Development Support Specialist to assist the Mortenson Wind team with a variety of support including reporting, sales tracking, competitive analysis, policy review, and customer survey analysis. This position will work mostly with internal stakeholders and play a key role in providing support and driving efficiency to the Business Development team. Do you thrive in the details? - Business development team operational support activities
- Lead Salesforce reporting, dashboard creation and maintenance
- Lead Data management, NDA tracking, estimate history and monthly recaps to team
- Meeting notes, customer surveys, file maintenance
- Yammer engagement
- Coordinate market insights, customer engagement, and strategy support
- Win/loss analysis
- Support in policy tracking, and group communication
- Competitor analysis and tracking
- White paper review and highlights to the team
- Market report intake, summary, and internal communication
- Participate in customer meetings providing support for customer requests
- Business plan strategy support
- Customer / portfolio alignment support
- Assist with scheduling customer meetings and other customer engagement activities
- Help prepare materials for customer presentations and attend pre-proposal meetings
- Perform general coordination of information between business development and preconstruction
- Other duties as assigned, including:
- Coordinate and participate in business development activities such as trade show appearances, conventions, and conferences
- Collaborate with business development counterparts from other Mortenson operating groups
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum three years' experience in construction, marketing, operations or related business development experience
- Salesforce experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
- Current driver's license
- Exceptional organization, time management, and facilitation skills
- Effectively work with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
- Adaptive and effective written and oral communication
- Travel of up to 30% of time may be necessary to fulfill your objectives in the position

The base pay range for this role is $79,000 MIN - $106,700 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.
