Medical Receptionist - Surgical Scheduler Clinton MD Pay From: $21 Per Hour MUST: 4+years of experience in a multi-provider specialty medical office 2+year of recent experience in a surgical environment Experience as a surgical scheduler-Coordinator Strong experience scheduling surgical procedures Reviewing surgical paperwork with patients Calling referring providers for lab reports and images prior to patient appointments Processing referrals Obtaining pre-authorizations Calling in and processing prescriptions Strong EMR documentation experience Answering phones Strong Medical Terminology HS diploma or GED DUTIES: Answer phones Assist with inquiries Review paperwork with patients prior to surgical procedures Schedule surgical procedures Check patients in and out Process referrals Call in prescriptions Call referring provider offices to obtain lab reports and images Document and update patient information in EMR Provide administrative support to the office DUTIES: Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
