Transportation Rep - International

General Summary: Responsible for the timely, accurate, efficient, and safe shipment of domestic and international customer orders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities and Compensation:

*Consolidate and process export, domestic, hazardous-materials and special handling orders.

*Assisting, as needed, in picking and staging inter-warehouse transfers or consolidations

*Properly processes freight forwarder, air priority freight, ocean freight and parcel shipments

*Prepares proper shipping documents

*Utilizes the warehouse management system and PC based software extensively

*Cross-train in additional transportation areas to function as back-up

*Completes additional certification training as required for dangerous goods shipping

*Attends training classes and becomes proficient in IATA, IMO, DOT, and USPS shipping regulations

*Required to attend classes in Hazmat shipping and import/export training

*Performs general housekeeping duties

*Performs other duties as assigned

To the extent this job is performed in Sparks, Nevada, the hourly rate for this position is $20.50. For internal promotions, this position will

be offered at an increase of $1.25 to a current employee's hourly rate. For lateral internal transfers, there will be no change to a

current employee's hourly rate.
