Production Technician VTT

Responsible for mass-production of varying models of oil-free compressors by performing and participating in component parts preparation and line assembly operations.

Essential Functions, Key Tasks, & Responsibilities (include the following, other duties may be assigned)
o Places parts in specified relationship to each other and bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together.
o Tends machines, such as hydraulic or pneumatic presses, air wrenches, or other tools to perform force fitting, fastening and/or bonding operations on the assembly line.
o Various tasks including mechanical assembly, operating pressure test stands, functional testing, preparation, material handling and other related operations as required.
o Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace.
o Responsible for understanding and complying with quality policy, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals and environmental well-being.

Education and/or Experience
o High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
o One to three years related experience and/or training
o Or equivalent combination of education and experience

In an effort to reduce the risk of injuries, the employee will be required to participate in light stretching exercises or warm-up activities as prescribed the company.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
