Position Summary The logistic supervisor will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing delivery routes and driver team for distribution center Duties & Responsibilities Daily dispatch of deliveries and fleet for assigned location within a direct store delivery network. Assigning and supervising driver personnel with a focus on safety/regulatory compliance and controlling and maintaining delivery efficiency goals while meeting or exceeding customer service level expectations. Ensure Delivery Driver SOPs are adhered to Daily reconciliation of routes and driver performance through GEOTAB Other duties as assigned Education and experience High school diploma or equivalent is required, Associates degree preferred 3 years of recent/prior fleet/driver supervisory/management experience Previous experience with routing and driver dispatching Prior driving experience preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Keep organization and time management skills Good collaboration and teamwork abilities Great leadership and goal-setting skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Route planning and analysis Ability to use computers, software and other technology for inventory and communication purposes Strong verbal communication skills Strong customer service skills Ability to exercise good judgement and work independently Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays Physical Demands/Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
