Job Duties: Associate, Banker - Financing Group with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Executing financing transactions in excess of $200 million in the corporate sector. Generating ideas/topics for client meetings to identify potential opportunities and financing alternatives and communicating those ideas with internal deal teams and client representatives. Performing fundamental credit analysis to determine how much debt a company can reasonably service and conducting due diligence. Developing client presentations (using MS PowerPoint) and complex financial models (using MS Excel). Building and reviewing financial models, including operating models, pro forma merger analysis, and DCF and LBO models. Presenting to senior client executives, legal counsel, and other financial advisors regarding financing transactions. Managing live deal execution, including running due diligence processes, reviewing legal documents, organizing and attending rating agency presentations and/or deal roadshows and liaising with other investment banks and internal parties. Coordinating work and schedules with senior members of the deal team and prioritizing tasks to meet conflicting deadlines.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years with: executing financing transactions in excess of $200 million in the corporate sector; generating ideas/topics for client meetings to identify potential opportunities and financing alternatives and communicating those ideas with internal deal teams and client representatives; performing fundamental credit analysis to determine how much debt a company can reasonably service and conducting due diligence; developing client presentations (using MS PowerPoint) and complex financial models (using MS Excel); building and reviewing financial models, including operating models, pro forma merger analysis, and DCF and LBO models; presenting to senior client executives, legal counsel, and other financial advisors regarding financing transactions; managing live deal execution, including running due diligence processes, reviewing legal documents, organizing and attending rating agency presentations and/or deal roadshows and liaising with other investment banks and internal parties; and coordinating work and schedules with senior members of the deal team and prioritizing tasks to meet conflicting deadlines. Domestic travel required approximately 10% of the time for in-person client meetings.

Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York-based position is $150,000.
